Porters Lodge

We're hosting our first book club meeting on the 26th April at 10am in the Icknield Room. The first book of the Porters Lodge Book Club is Melissa Harrison's At Hawthorn Time. This brilliant book was shortlisted for the Costa Book Award in 2015 and is a modern vignette of country life.

We will meet at 10am for a chat about the book led by Writer-in-Residence Ann Kronberg's. After this we recommend spending a bit of time in our garden before having a natter with other book club members over a cuppa!

There are only 12 places for each book club event that will need to be booked below. Tickets are free but you will need to buy the book in advance.
